MANN vs RANN

Way back in 1911, the Noble Prize winner Ravindra Nath Tagore wrote a song in praise of the Queen of Britain who was to visit India in Bengali. It had few words in praise of India as well. Later these words were taken up by the whole nation as their pride, as their honor, something which they believed in by heart, something which arose the immense love in them for their motherland. They took up those words as their national anthem.
Pani sharab sab ek ho jate hai,
jab dil mei deshprem ka nasha chahta hai.....
Rashtriya geet wahi hota hai,
jo poore desh ko ek sutra mei piro jata hai...

Those words still remain to be the National Anthem of India, my country, my nation...It was accepted as national anthem on 24th January'1950..Although it comprises of 5 stanzas, only the first stanza is sung in normal. It takes 52 seconds normally to sing it. A shorter version also exists which takes 20 seconds...The words are

But, since independence India has developed and changed a lot and this anthem requires a few changes to epict the reality of the nation. These changes have been best shown in a song recently composed for the movie "Rann", directed by Ram Gopal Verma, casting Amitabh Bachchan..

I am not intending to hurt anyone's feelings and patriotism. In my heart I believe my nation is the best and my mother land is the only heaven on Earth but i could not also deny the the truth..
